|Government|Established 1996Located in Tanda, Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College was established in 1996 and is the first government medical institution in the country. It is affiliated with Atal Medical & Research University and provides 120 MBBS admissions every year along with 93 postgraduate admissions in 17 specializations. The college is well-equipped with infrastructure, such as modern laboratories, lecture halls equipped with all sorts of amenities, a library, and a computer center.
